Kiln Pit Hill - Minsteracres (Northumberland)

Thanks to Aiden who sent details and photographs of this avenue of Giant Redwoods in Minsteracres. Aiden says that "we used to visit the trees when we were young with my mother and father and have always been amazed at their size. Their location is within the grounds of Minsteracres Monastery near Kiln Pitt Hill in Northumberland. The road through is off the A68 and passes all the way through the grounds to the other side." Not only the first Giant Redwood photographed for Northumberland, but Aiden found a whole avenue of them!
