Woodbridge - Melton Woods (Suffolk)

Giant Redwood - January 2023

Peter wrote to say "This Giant Redwood can be found on the edge of Melton Woods in Suffolk, near Woodbridge. It’s actually at the bottom of the private garden of a large home. The what.three.words location is dividers.puddles.back. Also pictured are relatives collecting cones from a big Red Pine that was right next to the Redwood, that sadly fell a few months ago (you can see the snapped trunk to the left of the Redwood photo) taking out a couple of other smaller trees with it. Fortunately it didn’t crash into the Redwood, which now has even more room to grow!" It's sad to hear of any tree falling but as you say at least the Redwood tree now has more room to grow!
