Westbury - near Cement Works (Wiltshire)

Thanks to Paulo from Portugal who sent the above photograph and says, "On a recent trip to the UK, close to Bath I found this glorious specimen. She was probably struck by lightning but still survived." An unusual setting for an unusual tree, having very obviously survived the lightning strike, as you say, and now appears to be quite happy to continue absorbing some of the CO2 produced by the Wiltshire Cement Works chimnney in the background.
