Runnymede - Virginia Water Lake (Surrey)

Thanks to David for sending photographs of Giant Redwood trees around Virginia Water Lake. A fine looking row, I often think that it's a shame the Victorian planters of so many years ago cannot see the remarkable results of their labours.

Thanks also to Ian sent the above photographs of two more Giant Redwoods in this area. Ian says, "There are 2 Giant Sequoias near the obelisk; one just down the hill towards the lake from Savill Gardens (photo 1) and one just inside Savill Gardens itself (photo 2).
