Tim wrote to say; "I have found a redwood at the recreation ground in Runfold in Surrey, just to the east of Farnham.
The tree is at : SU871473 - looks like a Giant Redwood to me."

Thanks Tim, it is certainly is a Giant Redwood, aka Sequoiadendron giganteum, and it looks like a fairly tall specimen.
