These two Giant Redwoods are sandwiched between Trevor Road and the Llangollen canal. Unfortunately there was not enough time available to walk this part of the canal (Trevor to Llangollen) but I highly recommend a walk along the canal path from Chirk to Trevor with its long dark tunnels, high aquaducts and serene views. |

Notice how on the Pontcysyllte Aquaduct the footpath side of the canal has a comforting high rail, whereas the other side of the water has just a narrow low ledge between the boat passengers and over a hundred feet of drop! |
