Lewisham - Mayow Park (London)

Dawn Redwood - 2012

Matt sent the above photograph of a Dawn Redwood in Lewisham in 2013. Matt says that he took this picture around May last year (2012) and he has since located more Dawn Redwoods in London, "one in the Horniman Museum Gardens in Forest Hill, (in the no public access bit to the left of the museum as you face it from the main path) and three in Dulwich Park (next to the path into the park from the College Rd entrance). I also think there are several street trees on the stretch of road Pelham St/Onslow Square/Sydney Place near South Kensington Station, although I'm not sure about these as I've only seen them in the winter so can't identify them by their leaves." Thanks Matt, it may be that someone lives or works close by and can check out the street trees near South Kensington station.
