Ketton - Church Road (Rutland)

Thanks to Emma who emailed to let us know about the five Giant Sequoia aka Giant Redwood aka Wellingtonia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) growing in her garden. Emma wrote "There are a few in Ketton as it’s said an explorer in the village around 1900 brought them back from his travels. The trees are right next to the main bridge in Ketton so very accessible to view. Our only issue is we are in a valley surrounded by trees so it’s difficult to step back & admire them from afar!" Wow, what a fabulous collection of Giant Redwood you have growing in your garden!
