Garboldisham - Manor Road (Norfolk)

Giant Redwood - August 2021

Patrick wrote to tell us about his very own Giant Redwood Tree in his garden in Garboldisham. He wrote; "The land that my property was built on was formerly part of Garboldisham Manor which is why there is a Redwood tree in this location. Its circumference is 5.9 metres and we measured the height using a drone and it's 26 metres tall. I don't know when the tree was planted. There is also one in the land opposite my property." Patrick has also grown some seedlings from seeds that he gathered from his tree which you can read about in the Tall Tales section of the website.
