Failand - Ashton Hill Plantation (Somerset)

Thanks to Alvin for the photographs and information about the Giant Redwood trees at Ashton Hill woods on the outskirts of Bristol. Ashton Hill is a 60 hectares (148 acres) mixed woodland with conifers and broadleaves and areas of ancient woodland and is owned by the Forestry Commission.

Alvin sent these photographs in December 2011 and says, "I wanted to capture the size and beauty of these magnificent trees against my brother riding past on his bike."
