Derby - St Mary's Primary School (Derbyshire)

Thanks to Jim for sending more photographs from Derbyshire, this time of a Giant Redwood in St Mary's Primary School in Broadway, Derby. Jim says, "Note the iron fence around the base of the tree, probably to help protect it from animals when it was young." It would be so interesting to see if in another hundred years time the fence becomes assimilated by the widening trunk!
