Thanks to John who wrote to say; "I was using your site to help me locate the Redwoods at Clifton Wood in Nottingham, and noticed you have no record of the Redwoods located in Woodthorpe Grange park, also in Nottingham. The park has 2 specimens, a Giant Sequoia and a Dawn Redwood. The Giant Redwood is at ///banana.goad.voices and the Dawn Redwood is at //pets.horses.backed although they are only about 20 meters apart."

Thank you for the details and lovely pictures, the Dawn Redwood pictures in particular caught my eye - a terrific example of the fluted, buttressed trunk.
