Potters bar - Oakmere & Parkfield Tree Trail (Hertfordshire)

Just behind the Oakmere public house, in first place on the Oakmere and Parkfield Tree Trail, stands this superb Giant Redwood. Already quite stout, it has plenty of room to spread in very pleasant surroundings. I can recommend a jacket potato and pot of tea in the pub followed by a leisurely stroll by the lake and this fantastic tree.
