James wrote to let us know about this Giant Sequoia situated in Langford. He wrote "This tree is standing alone in a field just off the A1133 in Langford Nottinghamshire, I pulled over to snap a few pictures and collect some seeds. I also noticed another Giant Sequoia slightly further into the village, I didn’t have time to stop for that one, it looked like it possibly has been hit by lighting and been topped. Maybe someone local can shed some light, I hope to drive past again soon and will try to photograph the second tree.
