High Ongar - Mulberry House Hotel (Essex) |
Thanks to Alex for spotting this fine specimen of a Wellingtonia (Sequoiadendron gigantuem) in a beautiful setting. He has won himself a chocolate orange for spotting one the very few I must have missed in Essex! |
Close to the tree is a small lake with a footbridge, and when the photographs were taken there were three black swans enjoying their breakfast on an early warm spring day. The only thing missing from the tranquil scene is a Dawn Redwood that would fit nicely beside the water. |
