Hamsterley - Hamsterley Forest (Durham)

Thanks to Russ for sending the above photographs of a Giant Sequoia in Hamsterley Forest. Russ says that the tree "is now about 8 feet shorter due to lightning." It is a shame about the lightning strike but it looks to be quite a wide tree. Hamsterley Forest is County Durham's largest forest, covering over 2,000 hectares.
