Giant Redwood - June 2021

Jonny wrote to ask; "I wondered if you could help me identify if this tree is a redwood? I’m not sure whether it’s a redwood and if it is, I thought it might be a good location to add to your list." Thank you for sending the photograph and yes it certainly is a Redwood. It is a Giant Redwood aka Wellingtonia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) and it looks like a fine example.
