Beckfoot - Dalegarth Hall (Cumbria)

Martyn wrote to say "I thought you may be interested in a redwood in Low Wood (which is behind Dalegarth Hall), Eskdale, Cambria. This is a short walk from Dalegarth Station on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway. There also was a second tree which is visible to the left of the tree I photographed, as well as two smaller trees in protective enclosures." Thanks for this location Martyn, at first glance I thought the two larger Redwoods in the top photograph were Wellingtonia but after seeing that one of the smaller trees in its enclosure is a Coast Redwood, I'm not quite as sure and I am erring on all four being the Coast Redwood type. Magnificent trees in a lovely setting whatever their type.
