| We often take the side roads when on holiday, much more interesting and fun, especially when in this case we discovered three young Giant Redwood amongst an avenue of different trees. A little further along New Road there were another three. Looking at their labels I discovered that they were a set of nine bought from Barcham Trees for the Ampton Estate. Sure enough a little bit further and there were the last three trees. All nine look in fine health, although on this particular day they were being battered rather by the cold wind. A great addition to any avenue! |
