Aldfield - Fountains Abbey (Yorkshire)

Thanks to Rob for the above photographs taken in 2011 of a "Coast Redwood in the water gardens at Fountains Abbey near Ripon, just above the Half Moon pond." The lefthand photograph shows "a gentleman stood next to the trunk of the tree. He was kind enough to model/pose for me and told me that he was 6 feet tall. I have estimated from his height that this redwood is 105 feet, 32 metres. This is a very fine tree which looked very attractive with its bright green new growth."
