Thanks to Anna who waited for good weather to take the photographs and wrote to say; "I wanted to submit a couple of redwoods (I think Welllingtonia) that grow in the village where I live in Warwickshire. They're in what used to be part of the grounds of a manor house that was demolished a while back. The area they're in (now called The Spinney) is public and can be visited easily - there's parking very close to them. There's a board there that provides info about the manor and mentions the trees. This is them on street view"

What a lovely blue sky Anna! It was certainly worth the wait and I'm pleased to have these two Wellingtonia on the website. That's an interesting protuberance at the base of one of them. I'm not sure what it's all about but interesting all the same.
