Hampton Hill - High Street (Middlesex)

Coast Redwood - August 2023

Thanks to Max who wrote to ask for a tree to be identified, he thought it could be a Redwood. We could confirm from the photographs of the foliage and especially the trunk, that it was indeed a Coast Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens). Interestingly it has a burl or two at its base which doesn't happen with Giant Redwoods.
