Woodhall Spa - The Kinema in the Woods (Lincolnshire)

A visit to Woodhall Spa was a chance for measurements to be taken of these two Giant Redwood originally spotted by Elizabeth (see below). The Tea House in the Woods family restaurant is located nearby where I can recommend enjoying a coronation chicken baked potato on the verandah.

Elizabeth sent the above photograph taken in 2017 of "these two redwoods along Coronation Road, near the Kinema in the Woods. Here is the best I could manage without losing the ice cream I was holding at the time." Thanks for doing a great balancing act Elizabeth, a very nice photo considering the circumstances! The Kinema sounds interesting, apparently it is the only cinema in the U.K. to employ back projection and dates from 1922. Since 2007 the Kinema is open 7 days a week, all year round, except Christmas Day and has a resident organist, Alan Underwood, who performs every Saturday night in the intervals of the film showing in the main screen.
