Two Giant Redwood and a Coast Redwood stand in the "old" cemetery in Woodbridge, while another Giant is in the "new" cemetery. There are entrances to both cemeteries at the end of Portland Crescent and Cemetery Lane, and an entrance to the old cemetery in Warren Hill Road. |

* * * Update - October 2022 * * * Peter sent this update when he visited the cemetery in Woodbridge in Ocotober 2022. Peter wrote; "I tried to find the same photo-taking-spot as the current photos on your site from 2017 for a direct comparison). You can see that the giant in the new cemetery has had some surgery to its lower branches in the last few years, revealing its trunk." ![]() Giant Redwood - Tree no. 4 |
"Now that its trunk is accessible, we used the string method at 1.5m height on the younger tree in the new cemetery (Tree 4) - this came out as 2.56m." |
