* * * Update - October 2022 * * *

Peter sent this update when he visited the cemetery in Woodbridge in Ocotober 2022.

Peter wrote; "I tried to find the same photo-taking-spot as the current photos on your site from 2017 for a direct comparison).
You can see that the giant in the new cemetery has had some surgery to its lower branches in the last few years, revealing its trunk."

Giant Redwood - Tree no. 4
"Now that its trunk is accessible, we used the string method at 1.5m height on the younger tree in the new cemetery (Tree 4) - this came out as 2.56m."

Giant Redwood - Tree no. 1

Giant Redwood - Tree no. 1
"We used the string method to measure the girth of the older giant (Tree 1) in the old cemetery, at 1.5m height, which came out as 5.15m."

Coast Redwood - Tree no. 2

Giant Redwood - Tree no. 3
Thank you for the photographs and measurements, you did a good job of finding the same positions as ours to compare with 2017.
