Tenbury Wells - Kyrewood House (Worcestershire)

Thanks to John who wrote in November 2020 to say "I have always been fascinated by redwood trees since we had one in the garden where I was a schoolboy. I now live in Worcestershire and again have one in the garden. Kyrewood House was built in 1721 and is shown on OS maps. Referring back to the one tree in my childhood garden, I remember calculating the height to be approx 80 feet by using the geometry I had learned at school about right angled triangles, a protractor, a ruler, and a tape measure! " To have had a redwood tree in you garden is fortunate, to have had one in two gardens over the years seems like a luxury. I wonder whether you could repeat the impressive use of the geometry you learned at school, on the tree you currently have in your garden!
