Thanks to Scott for the above photographs taken in Stirlingshire. He says, "I recently found around 30-35 Giant Sequoia at a place called the Dunmore Pineapple near Stirling. The old Dunmore House is now a derelict but it had a walled garden with a building for growing pineapples, with a giant sandstone pineapple on its roof. The garden and grounds are open for access to the public although the main house is fenced off as it is in such a bad condition. Leading away from the walled garden is an avenue of about 30 Giant Sequoia with some not looking too healthy and 1 that looks pretty much dead or close to it. But there are a few much younger ones that have obviously grown naturally. There are a few more erratics scattered around the grounds of the Dunmore Estate.

You can see them clearly from the village of Dunmore on the A905 and there is a path from the village to the trees, but there is a car park next to the walled garden as well. If you approach from the South and go to the car park at the walled garden you wouldn't even see them or know they are there.
