| This superb collection of Giant Redwoods and a single specimen of a Dawn Redwood adorn the garden of a house in Starston. The Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) is very similar to the Swamp Cypress (Taxodium distichum), the trunks are particularly alike in very young specimens such as this, so a very close inspection of the leaf arrangement is necessary to determine the difference. |
