South Croydon - Croham Hurst Golf Club (Surrey)

Thanks to Alan who wrote in 2013 to say that there is a "very large tree located outside the clubhouse of Croham Hurst Golf Club, South Croydon. It is locally referred to as a "Wellingtonian"."

Alan wrote again in 2015: "On Tuesday 16 June Croham Hurst Golf Club members celebrated two notable anniversaries with a ‘Tree Hug’ – 200 years since the Battle of Waterloo and 70 years since VE Day. The magnificent Sequoia Giganteum (Wellingtonia) outside the Pro Shop was planted in 1857 to commemorate the death of the 1st Duke of Wellington and is currently 110ft in height."
