This was an unexpected find, considering the late hour. Two young Giant Redwood stand in an enclosure with other trees on the banks of the river Severn in Porthill Road and opposite Pengwern Road. Beck's Fied is a Countryside Heritage Site on the opposite bank of the river to The Quarry, the main recreational park in Shrewsbury. |
