Sheet - Adhurst St. Mary (Hampshire)

Accessed via London Road, this looks to be an extremely tall example of a Giant Redwood and very worthy of taking precise measurements. Unfortunately I was unable to see the owner for him to grant permission. Perhaps if he reads this he might like to get in contact and we might be able to arrange a time to measure his lovely tree. According to the Petersfield Post on 12th December 2007, for four years there have been ambitious plans to restore the Victorian mansion as part of a hotel development. A condition attached to the planning consent "is that a detailed scheme for restoring and landscaping the extensive grounds must be drawn up and approved.
