Papworth St Agnes - A1198 (Cambridgeshire)

This very sad sight was found along the A1198 near Papworth St Agnes. It was not possible at the time to speak to the householder to find out why this Giant Redwood had been cut so savagely, so this will remain a mystery for now. Perhaps it was damaged by lightning.
