New Forest - Bolderwood (Hampshire)

Giant Redwood - August 2023

Thanks to Peter who wrote to say that he; "visited the New Forest this past weekend, naturally saw the two famous giant redwoods which were amazing. Many coast redwoods around the same area but a curious lack of giants. However, found this young one in the Bolderwood area of the new forest (a bit northwest of the Blackwater arboretum where the two famous giants stand). The what three words location for this one is Zinc.Hunter.Keyboard." Great find Peter, although it's always nice to find a large Redwood, there's something satisfying in seeing a youngster - it means there are others out there planting these trees!
