A fabulous specimen of a Giant Redwood tree stands in a garden in New Buckenham. There are two more in the village but access was not possible at this time, still it makes a good excues for a return visit to a very peaceful part of the country.

Nearby there is the remains of a castle built in the 12th century. A circular wall remains as can be seen in the above photograph.
