Just a short walk up from the church, past Little Hallingbury Place, you will find this Giant Redwood sitting on the lawn of The Rectory. Although it is as fine an example of Wellingtonia as the one in the churchyard, it has suffered some damage (possibly from lightning) and is missing the bark from a few square feet of area at the base of the trunk. |
