Tam says "It seemed that even without trying to find them these marvellous trees were just everywhere last week. On a visit to the swimming pool in Inverness I could not believe that this lovely tree was literally yards from the front entrance. It is 4.70m girth and 20-22m tall. Just a short way from here were quite a few large trees so I made my way on foot toward them only to find my way barred by the River Ness. This was the only photo I could get that day of yet some more trees on the other side of a river!!" Thanks Tam, another good find and more to come from the other side of the river. On my travels I am often adding a "return when more time" note. It is not always easy forcing myself to stop for the day and turn back knowing that there are a couple more just "over the next hill" (or river!)
