Buried deep in the wilds of the Essex countryside sits this interesting collection of four Redwoods. They are somewhat spread out around the large grassy fields, but the best one is the Wellingtonia nearest the house. The fine examples of cedar also in the collection show that this place was occupied by a Victorian with an eye for a good tree, if not a knack for a good layout!
The adjacent property (Braxted Park Estate) is surrounded by an incredibly long brick built wall which looks as though it must also date back to Victorian times or earlier. |
