Tim sent this photograph of a Giant Redwood in Merlewood which he estimated at well over 100 feet high. Merlewood was designed by George Webster in 1853, so a Giant Redwood would probably have been included in his design as they were new to this country and many wealthy Victorians wanted them included in their gardens.
