One of six Dawn Redwood - planted May 2019
Six young Dawn Redwood saplings were added in April 2019, they have been planted in the damper region near to the chalk stream that runs through the land.
This position should suit them well and give them a great chance of thriving.

Rare breed animals at Grimblethorpe Hall
The current owners keep a number of rare breed farm animals living a happy and healthy life in their outdoor environment.
There is an onsite Butchery at Grimblethorpe Hall, from experience we can recommend trying their delicious produce.
The Estate also has a number of Holiday Cottages on the farm, from which residents can take a relaxing stroll past the animals.

Thanks to Adam for sending the above photograph in 2011 to let us know about these Giant Redwoods "in the grounds of Grimblethorpe Hall in Gayton le Wold parish, Lincolnshire. I think there are eight Giant Redwoods, although it is difficult to see from the road. The hall dates from 1620 and the National Grid Reference is TF238864."
