Giant Redwood - May 2007

Thanks to Tam for the above photograph taken of a Giant Redwood in The Calder Glen. Tam says "The perspective in the photo is a bit out as the photo is taken from a hill looking down on to the sequoia but you can see the car to the right so it is a giant."

A lovely Wellingtonia, it is easy to forget how large these trees really are so it is good to see such comparisons now and again.
