|Thanks to Scott for this Redwood find. He says; "the small but lovely Dr Neils Garden (also known locally as the 'Secret garden') in Duddingston, Edinburgh, has 2 Dawn Redwood and 3 Coast Redwood. The garden was only started in the 1960s and the 3 Coast, which are planted very close together, can be no older than that. One of the Dawn is about 12-15 feet tall and one looks recently planted, being only about 3 feet tall and still having a tag on its trunk, and looks like it is already suffering from the effects of the winds which can howl across Duddingston Loch. A vey nice wee garden in which you'd never know you were minutes away from Edinburgh's busy Southside.
