Caversham - Caversham Court Gardens (Berkshire)

Thanks to Dave for sending the above photographs of a Giant Sequoia in Caversham. Dave says,"Here's one to add to your list, it's a giant sequoia at Caversham Court Gardens - just around the corner from me. The girth measures 6.1 m at 1.5m. The gardens are closed to the public for restoration, re-opening in May 2009." Reading Council's plans to "enhance the historic garden's original features" and to "introduce new planting" should make Caversham Court Gardens a lovely retreat when it opens again in the Spring.
