Cambusbarron - Hayford House (Stirlingshire)

Thanks to Peggy for sending the above photograph taken by Douglas Campbell of Cambusbarron. Peggy says that Douglas, "believes that this redwood was planted at the same time as those on Gillies Hill which means it could have come from those original seeds sent from California to Perth in 1853. Hayford House was built in 1850." Thanks to Douglas for taking such a striking shot of this lovely Giant Redwood, which really has caught the light well. Not always easy with a light, cloudy sky.
