Bromley - South Hill Wood (Kent)

Jack sent these two photographs of a Wellingtonia in Westmoreland Road, Bromley. He wrote "It was brought over at the turn of the century, so it is about 120 years old. I have two seedlings I am growing from this tree"

Congratulations on germinating the two seedlings, they have the classic quaint look that always makes me smile! It's hard to believe that such a tiny delicate looking seedling can grow into the biggest and sturdiest of trees on the planet.
