| Planks of wood in the lower branches show that this Giant Redwood has been used as a child's plaything, and why not? The tree does not seem to have any complaints, having survived a lightning strike it is continuing to thrive regardless. It my have lost a little height, but with its girth of over five and a half metres it will shrug off even the most fierce of storms. |
