Ashley Green - Two Dells Lane (Berkshire)
|Thanks to Conrad who wrote to say "I have been familiar with these two trees since I was first able to walk but only just realised they are Sequoiadendron Giganteum. "
Conrad's father Rod kindly sent us some photographs of these two trees in Ashley Green near Chesham, which he says "are on private land but very accessible on a footpath."
Two very nice specimen Wellingtonia and a great photo of all the people around one of the enormous trunks! Looking more closely at the picture of the two trees with the house in the background, it looks as though there maybe two other Wellingtonia in the distance just visible over the rooftops. As I have always said, when one finds a Wellingtonia in one spot, there's a good chance there will be some more nearby.
