Ampfield - Hillier Gardens (Hampshire)

These young Dawn Redwoods are situated in the car park of Hillier Gardens. Notice the guy ropes restraining the Redwoods in the right hand picture. Dawn Redwood trees are actually very sturdy and would not need support ordinarily, so I suspect that these had recently been put in place as "large" saplings. Time constraints mean that a visit into the gardens has not yet taken place but it is on the (ever-growing) list for another day.
