Acharacle - Redwood House (Argyllshire)

Thanks to Peggy for sending another location of a Giant Redwood in Scotland, this one is at Acharacle. Peggy says that, "only the branches are visible in the photo since I couldn't get on to the grounds. BUT the house is called 'Redwood House!'" Peggy gives the co-ordinates for this location as N56 44.889 W 005 48.135. Thanks to Jan who wrote giving more details. "The house was the original Manse for Church of Scotland, but because a new Manse was built for the new Minster we were asked to rename it when buying (7 years ago). It had to be Redwood House for the beautiful tree in the garden, probably the same age as the house... 1896." I hope to add a full picture of the tree in the future.
