Stoke Sub Hamdon - Cartgate Picnic Area (Somerset)
|This Coast Redwood was found by chance on a visit to the Cargate Picnic Area at the junction of the A303 (London-Exeter Trunk road) and A3088 (Yeovil spur).
Underneath is a plaque which reads;
|If anyone has any information about the tree or about Edward Gladstone Hebditch we would be pleased to hear from you.
This is a very pleasant picnic area, it has toilets, tourist information office, snack bar and picnic tables.
