Thanks to Asimina who sent these photographs of an avenue of Giant Redwoods at Yeldall Manor which is a privately owned religious-based drug rehabilitation organisation with other businesses on the grounds.
Asimina said "It is hidden from the road and main gate but there are 48 or 50 Sequoiadendron in a straight avenue running roughly South to North, planted in an opposite pattern. Some are missing and they are of varying heights.
There are lines of trees planted against both sídes. I presume it was because the Sequoiadendron were losing lower branches but this will only be increased by being shaded. There are also lots of Sequoiadendron planted in a random fashion at the north end of the avenue. There is an open day 4th July 2020." |
